Attorney Rosalind Johnson is the Founder and Managing Attorney of The Johnson Firm, PA, where she leads with compassion and expertise. Attorney Johnson's journey began as a US Army Veteran, where she demonstrated the same dedication and discipline that she later brought to her legal career. Serving as a Military Police Officer and Paralegal in the Judge Advocate General's Corps, she honed her skills and embarked on a path that led her to become an attorney. Her academic pursuits at Kansas State University, focusing on Sociology and Criminology, laid the foundation for her exceptional accomplishments. It culminated in her law degree from Florida State University College of Law, where she was awarded the esteemed Virgil Hawkins Memorial Fellowship, covering her entire three-year course of study.

Attorney Johnson's achievements extend beyond her academic accomplishments. She is a distinguished Fellow of Class IV of the highly competitive and prestigious Florida Bar Wm. Reece Smith, Jr Leadership Academy, demonstrating her exceptional leadership qualities. Actively engaged in the legal community, she has served as Co-Chair of the Diversity & Inclusion Committee at the Orange County Bar Association, championing equality and representation.


Prior to establishing her private practice, Attorney Johnson served as an Assistant Public Defender, gaining invaluable experience in helping people navigate challenging times. Her unique ability to see the best in any circumstance and her generous nature make her a true catalyst for change in the community. Throughout the past decade, she has focused her efforts on serving traditionally underserved and overlooked populations, leaving a lasting impact.

Attorney Johnson's commitment to service goes beyond her legal practice. She plays an integral role in the Florida Bar, serving on the Leadership Academy Committee and Advertising Committee. Recognized for her expertise, she was appointed by the Mayor of Orange County to serve on the Nuisance Abatement Board, where she held the positions of Chair and Vice-Chair during her 10-year tenure. Furthermore, she has contributed to the Subcommittee of the Florida Supreme Court Committee on Justice Teaching and was a former member of the Central Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Her dedication to pro bono work was acknowledged when she received the Florida Supreme Court Pro Bono Service Award in 2007.

As a member of the Central Florida Bankruptcy Association, Attorney Johnson remains at the forefront of her field, continuously expanding her knowledge and expertise. Her dedication to upholding the highest ethical standards is evident through her service on the Florida Bar Ninth Circuit Grievance Committee, where she currently serves and holds the position of Vice Chair. Furthermore, she has previously contributed her valuable insights to the Florida Bar Client Security Fund Committee.

Attorney Johnson's commitment to service extends beyond her legal practice. She serves as an authorized agent through Old Republic Title, demonstrating her deep involvement in the real estate industry. Attorney Johnson formerly served as a Civil Traffic Hearing Officer in the Ninth Judicial Circuit, encompassing Orange and Osceola counties, a role that allowed her to contribute to the fair and just resolution of traffic-related matters.

With an unwavering commitment to the Central Florida community spanning almost two decades, Attorney Johnson has emerged as a trusted advocate for her clients. Her dedication to philanthropy and empowering those in need has earned her a reputation that precedes her.

Throughout her academic journey and legal career, Rosalind has been a passionate volunteer for various community organizations. In 2008, she founded BIG SIS, Inc, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering and promoting self-sufficiency in women. Under this umbrella, she established and manages a local food pantry, diaper pantry, and transitional housing program, making a tangible difference in the lives of those in need.


Additionally, as the founder of The Legal L.A.B.B., a 501c3 nonprofit organization, Attorney Johnson ensures that low to moderate-income residents of the community have access to legal education and resources. Through this initiative, she actively promotes justice and equality, empowering individuals to navigate the complexities of the legal system.

Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Friend

Despite her demanding role as an attorney, Rosalind is a Wife and loving mother of nine, including seven biological children and two bonus children. She is also a proud grandmother of nine. Even with her busy schedule, she remains steadfast in her commitment to giving back to the community that she holds dear.
